It has shown up in Science Fiction shows and movies. Why? It has a certain appeal even as it is still beyond current technology.<br /><br />But has it ever actually happened in the real world? Has a look alike, body double ever actually permanently replaced the original? I doubt it. It’s still too easy to ascertain whether a person is who he or she claims to be.
