To cut off your eyelids and practice as though your hair were on fire strikes me as earning more than one's daily bread. I'm given to understand that any less effort will fail to provide enlightenment. Perhaps enlightenment is more restful. But i've heard a few say that they would rest when they are dead.<br /><br />I have kids in my history and so believe that my work quota has been over reached. I believe that it's time for someone to write the book Zen and the Art of Hammock Piloting.
