While Bernie Sanders was able to launch from Vermont, he’d been on the scene for decades and established his bona fides.

Andy Shizenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15215297395548845513noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4904219782540965444.post-58394098351213716952017-11-07T07:59:59.743-05:002017-11-07T07:59:59.743-05:00In the dark-horse category, I like Gina Raimondo, ...In the dark-horse category, I like Gina Raimondo, governor of Rhode Island. An educated Democrat who seems capable of speaking straightforward English. Mind you, I only saw one cut-the-crap clip after Trump announced his concern (but not money) for the feeding-frenzy "opiod crisis."genkakuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12135705172119950326noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4904219782540965444.post-49685181066340240742017-11-06T23:33:30.667-05:002017-11-06T23:33:30.667-05:00I look forward to Donna Brazile’s new book.

Did she communicate her perceptions to other party leaders? Seems like in hindsight Clinton made several errors that were all easily correctable. We do know that something of Brazile’s allegations are true: recall the fiasco with that POS Debbie Wasserman-Schultz.

I do know Obama’s grassroots network held him in good stead. I was approached and was glad to join in making phone calls for Obama from a local office during the primaries. I didn’t feel Clinton’s grassroots network at all. I received many calls from Obama’s network during the general, nothing from the Clinton campaign.

Still, we must remember that with all her real and alleged errors, Mrs. Clinton WON the popular vote. The problem was correctly assessing and addressing the electoral votes.

Not to interject conspiracy notions into this, but are we sure that the electronic polling system really wasn’t compromised?

I do think that moving forward, the Dems have to find some good candidates with integrity and restraint, devise a sound unifying platform, and put people in place who understand the presidential election process.

BTW — Anyone besides me enjoying the series “Designated Survivor” staring Keifet Sutherland Wednesdays on ABC? I’d vote for the character Sutherland plays. Hell, I’d probably vote for Sutherland,
Andy Shizenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15215297395548845513noreply@blogger.com
