    gently and respectfully

    better to be an elephant alone in jungle slowly gently quietly this is the best way (2005 somewhere frm esangha)

    give where confident

    make a difference although no difference made just called making a difference (diamond sutra-ish wisdom)

    "offer (to take up more dukkha) and provide (more spiritual friendship)"

    "do not insist (within your means do what you can and not do what you cannot)"
