Move over, London Olympics!
A 17-year-old from Wisconsin man has won the $50,000 first prize as America's fastest text-er. The National Texting Championship was held in New York and I heard Austin Weirschke on the radio yesterday saying he had been timed at something like 6.2 characters per second.
I wonder what, if anything, Weirschke's win may inject into the old saw, "Idle hands are the devil's workshop."
