I don't know if it's true or not, but I read it the other day and it banged my chimes -- the description of the spiritual teacher or priest or whatever as just being someone who was willing to make a fool of himself ... ostensibly on behalf of others, but really on his or her own behalf.

As I say, I don't know if it's true or not, but it makes sense to me.
