breaking the sound barrier

.
The Austrian skydiver, Felix Baumgartner, became the first man to break the sound barrier in nothing more than protective clothing yesterday. Jumping from about 24 miles up, Baumgartner reached an estimated speed of 833.9mph or Mach (the speed of sound) 1.24.

No one is telling me who financed this thing or how much it cost.

  2. Baumgartner is Austrian, not Australian. And speaking of people falling out of the sky, how about the story of Juliane Koepcke?http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-17476615
