The largest full moon of 2013, a so-called "supermoon," will light up the night sky this weekend, but there's more to this lunar delight than
meets the eye.
-- And, in related(?) news,
The U.K. government has released the final batch of secret files related
to a decades long hunt for little green men -- and revealed that the
hunt for aliens was detracting from “more valuable defense-related
activities.” ....
"The level of resources diverted to this task is increasing in response
to a recent upsurge in reported sightings, diverting staff from more
valuable defence-related activities."
Hi Adam,
ReplyDeleteI'd have thought the good old UK intelligence organs would have been glad of 'little green men' given their propensity for 'sexing up' dossiers on matters such as Iraq's attack capabilities.
I still reckon Saddam and the Martians had a diabolical plot that they were about to unleash on the world before the Forces of Good intervened and killed everybody and hung Ming the Merciless like a dog.
On a brighter note (if you'll pardon the pun), happy moon gazing!
Regards,
Harry.
