As if the leading ingredient in the United States' biggest drug-addiction problem needed support, powdered alcohol
has won approval here in the U.S. of A.
NEW YORK (AP)
-- The maker of a powdered alcohol says his product has gained approval
from the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau.
The
product, dubbed Palcohol, had received the greenlight briefly last year
before the bureau said the label approval had been issued in error. On
Wednesday, bureau spokesman Tom Hogue told The Associated Press the
issues had been resolved and the product was approved. But Hogue noted
that states can also regulate alcohol sales in their borders.
Just add water, I gather.
Like kool-aid for adults. I invision a wine flavored variety called Goofy Grape, followed by the legal battle over the naming rights followed by a merger with kraft who's bank of lawyers will defend marketing that might be misunderstood by children.
