Always there is, to borrow from Robert Frost, "the road not taken" or its permutation, "the road less traveled."
What-if, what-if, what-if...?
Do I dass or do I don't?
And yet, when all is said and done, isn't it true that everyone has taken the road not taken, has dared themselves into a land unknown, has been the ultimate iconoclast while never moving an inch from the suffocating, all-powerful majority?
It's not the road so much -- do you think? -- as it is the mind of the traveler, so rutted and well shorn.
As a friend of mine was wont to say, "Wherever you go, there you are." And how could where you are ever be anything but the road less traveled?
How is it possible NOT to take the road not taken?
I went off road, way lost and broke an axle. Here i am.
