The sub-culture of black cowboys in the Mississippi delta is the subject of an ongoing project by the photographer Rory Doyle. Resisting stereotypes around what it means to be a cowboy, Delta Hill Riders will be shown in his solo exhibition at ThePrintSpace gallery in London from 29 February until 26 March. Yes, it was “Blazing Saddles.” Cleavon Little became Sheriff won over the racist town and fought off the evil railroaders.
