Which is worse -- deeply believing something to be true only to find out it is false or deeply believing something to be true only to find out it is true?
This strikes me as a relevant question in the world of spiritual endeavor, which can be top-heavy with fervent belief, whether institutional or personal.
As the American Civil Rights exponent Martin Luther King, Jr., once said, approximately: "It's not what's wrong with the world that scares people. What really scares them is that everything is all right."
How irresponsible anyone might be is every bit as personal as how responsible s/he might choose to become.
