An early-morning report suggests that the Occupy Wall Street protest will enter the work week. Protesters were eating breakfast, the report says, when Wall Street workers arrived today, but they did appear to be gearing up for a continuation of the effort that led to 700 arrests over the weekend.
Later reports saw more action and actions springing up in other cities.
Most important, perhaps, the news services appear to have discovered the news that has been under their noses for the past several weeks.
It remains to be seen if the protest can overcome the helplessness that is one of the hallmarks of American life.
