correction

How many lifetimes have been wasted trying to correct the fact that 'the universe begins and ends with me?'

Or, alternatively, 'the universe begins and ends with you?'

Correction is such a magnetic business.

    Overheard part of a cell phone conversation the other day on Amtrak:

    "Most of the time my life seems like a show in which I have the lead role. [Pause] I mean I "know" my life isn't a show and I know that I am certainly not it's lead character. [Pause] Well, honestly most of the time it really feels that way."

    I thought that the stranger was on to something.
