gauging corruption

(BBC) A key global survey of international perceptions of official corruption has put Spain down six points to 40th place after a series of recent scandals.
Only Syria, in the middle of a civil war, lost more points in the survey, carried out by the Berlin-based Transparency International.
The list of 177 countries put Denmark and New Zealand top with 91 out of 100.

  1. My tibetan lama - a middle age monastic who gave triple gem refuge in 2012 - decided to drop by town in singapore this week. He showcased photos of him conducting rites at a local tourist attraction, possibly a venue offered by the more affluent locals.

It's quite funny, sometimes in life we do have callings i.e. higher purposes. One of my higher purposes ironically ain't to become an arahant or a bodhisattva, when I heard about Black Moon Zendo I always wondered how tea tasted like in the US with a zen master. Whether knowingly or unknowingly, I have been working in a certain juncture where Black Moon Zendo remains an imaginery city conjured by the Tathagata, never seen it apart from the photos, rather do without seeing it as a physical entity when it can reside safely within my imaginations.

All that talk about signs and signlessnesses, wishes and wishlessnesses, aims and aimlessnesses, and even these days I've got Christian samaritarians who introduced me nursery school terminologies that work just as well -- love, hope, and faith, wow.. they bring peace within me -- and then I saw this lady Traditional Chinese Physician today and she treated me with a few acupuncture needles, within a short span of 15-30 minutes I did my sitting with her accompanying me, breathing in breathing out, with another's companionship i.e. a physician's, I could feel the dukkha arising when she removed the needles from my body.

:*) I sighed and patted my chest. She asked what was wrong. I would tell her it was just gravitational pull between the Planet Earth and the Satellite Moon, there was attraction, who first caused who to experience that gravitational pull within empty space I had barely a clue, I was glad she left her door open, the dukkha that occurred when one regards his wise person (physician or anybody else) as somebody worth liking.

When I like somebody and there's nothing more that I can do other than experiencing a dharma; when everything I knew that was of wisdom was just sitting still breathing in breathing out knowing that love too will pass.. (did the tyrannosaurus have a girlfriend billions of years ago?)

    what is her name?
    who is her dad?
    when is she free?
    where can I meet her?
    how do I court her?
    why do I like her?

which are the questions that I can ask other than the above?
