Worries ....

I worry for my daughter.

I worry for my son.

Worry takes a lot of energy, much of which has dwindled over time.

I do it anyway.


  1. It's a huge waste of energy to worry, because it isn't what you worried about that happens. It's something else entirely; and you'll need all that energy to deal with the actual something.
    It's taken me 80+ years to figure that one out. Benefit from my wasted time!

  2. But still, to have your loved ones struck by the unexpected is just another worry. And my energy is long gone. I'm sorry that they will go through the things i've gone through, or any variation of it. It shouldn't happen to a dog we used to say, but we timidly hoped that justice might exist.
