  1. I've such mixed feelings from this. An honest american and father of a fallen soldier who came here believing in hope, yet speaking like a politician.

  2. Charlie -- I had some of the same feelings and then figured this guy had paid his dues and then some: If talking politic-speak was offered as a way to express some of his grief and rage, he damn well had the right to take it.

    But I hear what you're saying ... though I never lost a son.

  3. I understand, he's trying to make a difference, prevent others losing their sons. It's just sad that he should have to.
