man robs bank to escape wife

A 70-year-old man from Kansas has pleaded guilty to a bank robbery on Tuesday, saying he did it to escape from his wife.
Lawrence Ripple robbed a Kansas City bank, last September, and then waited in the lobby until police came.
He told investigators he would rather go to jail than live at home, and now faces up to 20 years.

  1. I imagine it was the best he could afford. I'd like to spend my remaining days in a spa and be catered to, but it's beyond my means. At best i could afford a nursing home that smells like urine, and i've sworn to check myself out before such a threat becomes tangible. Meantime, i do such chores as i am able and take a lot of pills. I've also let go of the fear of losing my mind and memories. Toddling about clueless is like falling into nothingness, it's not so bad.
