Shaping the classes in the U.S. appears to be taking new steps, encouraging school to be not just "school" but now "trade school" for the newly-burnished peasants:

When I was young, high school's offered wood shop, metal shop and auto shop classes. But these were killed off by insurance costs apparently. I thought it was a good idea. Everyone didn't want or need to go to college. Why education and labor departments should be combined eludes me on every level. But maybe trump is trying to save money for his Space Force.
