uhhh ... electronic surveillance?

So much for electronic surveillance:
... Aaron Tarjick was wearing the tracking device as a condition of pre-trial probation while he and his brother, James “Jamie” Tarjick Jr., committed over 100 break-ins between 2010 and 2012. Aaron Tarjick is in prison on unrelated charges.

    Skimming the story, something irritating and seemingly more common now that stuff is put online without thought of how global the web is. A local story that could be in either new England, or old England. I've no idea what continent this happened on.

    It's a local paper -- Northampton, Mass. -- so the context here is evident.
