it's not that bad? well, yes, it is

Suicides linked to the economic hard times that almost no one calls a Depression are on the rise, according to a story in The Washington Post.

If this keeps up, there won't be anyone left to hunt down the humming birds whose tongues still grace insouciant and noble tables.

And as a footnote, perhaps, Standard Chartered Bank has agreed to pay a $340 million fine for laundering $250 billion for the Iranian government over six years.
