Looking over the evidence ...

I wish I were younger
But I'm not.
I wish I were stronger
But I'm not.
I wish I were kinder
But I'm not.
I wish I were smarter
But I'm not.
I wish I were sexier
But I'm not.
I wish I were more loving
But I'm not.
I wish I were more gregarious
But I'm not.
I wish ... the list weren't so long
But it's not.

My mother used to say, "If wishes were horses, beggars would ride."

Curious how much time is spent on what I wish and how little on what I am.
