With my 70th birthday three days away, my older son asked me this morning what I wanted for my birthday.
Friendship and music were the two things that popped to mind, so I told him about several kinds of music I would like to have and which I hope to play on a radio/CD player I plan to treat myself to.
Never to old to get the gimme's, I guess.

I'm going to be 61 in a few weeks and have already outlived two of my closest friends. Trust me when I say this: I'm glad you have outlived them too. Each year is a rare privilege.
