spiritual nitwits

.
I have tried writing politely to these people, tried telling them that their Buddhist spam messages are not welcome, attempted to point out that spam Buddhism demeans the cause they claim to uphold. Nothing works. I am forced to say what I think: Assholes!

The messages show up in the spam folder these days. Time after time, selling me some dumbed-down, text-dependent, oozing-with-sincerity, money-grubbing litany. I can forgive Christians for this sort of Tupperware spirituality, but it frosts my cookies when Buddhists (the very people with whom I 'grew up' spiritually, so to speak) indulge in similar, careless and uncaring crap. It all comes (repeatedly) from some teaching institution, from someone called Jagatheesan Chandrasekharan (bspnow@yahoo.co.in and sarvajanow@yahoo.co.in) ... and I grind my teeth... and wish that Mao Tse Tung would come back to life and send twits like this to one of his self-serving and vile 're-education' camps. That, or subject them to an unending diet of anchovies!

  2. If it's just those two addresses that's good. You should be able to have you email client or server delete or block any messages from them automatically.
