A flavorful shard of story-telling ... that's how I found "Hearts In Atlantis
," a movie lifted from Stephen King and with Anthony Hopkins as the sole big-name performer. Nice photography, but if I were asked to say what it was about, I'm not entirely sure, but it was softly moving. Critic Roger Ebert wrote that "Rarely does a movie make you feel so warm and so uneasy at the same time..." and that's close enough for me.
I remember enjoying the book and being disappointed in the movie. It's not unusual to be able to fit more into a book than into two hours. But i think Ebert's description applies to either.ReplyDelete
