Regarding suits, one of my favorite suit sayings comes from a universe only found on video:

Although I am found of another saying as well. It was spoken innumerable times on the TV by ousted Men's Warehouse president George Zimmer. It is as surely seductive as any of your more spiritually inclined pronouncements:
"You're going to like the way you look, I guarantee it."
