It's only a tickle at the moment, but I can imagine that news outlets that were never too keen on more-expensive-and-substantive news-gathering in the first place are delighted that the first major snowstorm of the season is about to land on the Northeast here in the U.S.
It's not here yet, but the local newspaper leads its page 1 with the storm. Television outlets have let loose their already over-utilized forecasters.
Think how much money can be saved:
"It's coming."
"It came."
"It needs to be cleaned up."
Days and days of Mother Nature. The number of barbecues that will be up-ended is positively outrageous, don't you agree? Looking out the window is hardly enough: We need to know more and more and more about what the window can elucidate in an instant. A heatwave in Argentina is of no importance.
It's here and it's now and it's not going to end any time soon.
