However confounding, still I think:
In order to be "off the path" you would first have to conceive the possibility of being "on the path."
And in order to be "on the path," you would first have to conceive the possibility of being "off the path."
Either way, the limitations loom and the limitless path goes begging.
Not that imagination, hope and belief are utterly useless in their time, but there is something to be said for staying on the path.
It seems a conundrum that the only way to escape a dualist universe is to lump it into the single category of dualism.
