harvesting a superfruit

An Aboriginal community in the West Kimberley has become the first to commercially harvest the highly sought after bush fruit gubinge.
Gubinge, also known as Kakadu plum, is endemic to Northern Australia.
It is rich in nutrients and has been enjoyed by Aboriginal people for thousands of years.
Kimberley Training Institute horticulture lecturer Kim Courtenay said now the western world is catching on.
"It was found a few years ago to have the highest levels of vitamin C and antioxidants of any fruit in the world, so they talk about super fruits but this is the top of the tree super fruit," he said.
