man survives 13 months at sea?

It seems an iffy tale at the moment, but that doesn't stop it from being a tale worth telling: A man who says he set sail from Mexico on a shark-fishing expedition in December of 2012 came ashore Monday in the Marshall Islands, some 5,500 miles away. He survived on fish, birds and turtles.

Nothing wrong with telling a whopper, if whopper it be, from time to time: Consider the nooks and crannies of spiritual life. And who would have imagined the Seattle Seahawks could trounce the Denver Broncos as they did yesterday, 43-8, in football's Super Bowl?

  1. How did he survive without water? Sea water is salt. He is not superhuman.
