To protest a new state law that makes the carrying of concealed handguns legal in college
classrooms, students at the University of Texas on Wednesday openly
displayed sex toys, an act considered illegal under local indecency
laws. [Reuters]
Well, it points out some inequities in the law. It might not help directly. But it does offer a perspective some folks might have missed, not put the 2+2 of it together, etc.
I sure seem to recall the University of Texas very well, it's all over in Singaporean papers because a young chap named Joseph Schooling won an Olympic gold and is schooling there, iirc. I know nuts about sex toys though, many years ago I bought a plastic vagina just to understand what the industry was about, I never figured out how to use it. It didn't make the slightest sense since I couldn't even fit my finger into it.
Like that'll help.
