suicide rates by profession

According to a 2016 Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report , people working in farming, fishing and forestry had the highest rate of suicide.
The quote is part of a story about the stresses being felt by dairy farmers. It's not what I would have guessed: Those who live cheek-by-jowl with nature always strike me as sturdy and credible. Perhaps a bit too sturdy?
